Southern Missouri Natural Gas
In May 2005, Sendero acquired 100% of the limited and general partnership interests of Southern Missouri Natural Gas (formerly known as Southern Missouri Gas Company, L.P.) in a private auction  of a non-core asset divestiture by a large integrated utility. SMNG operates approximately 450 miles of natural gas pipeline in six counties in southern Missouri and serves approximately over 8,000 retail, commercial and industrial customers in 12 rural communities. SMNG was originally developed and built in the late 1990s to provide natural gas service to a large geographic area experiencing significant growth.

 

Nexus Resources LLC In January 2005, Sendero acquired a direct equity interest in Nexus which is a privately owned oil and gas exploration and production company with significant leasehold positions in south Louisiana. Mr. Maffett, Sendero’s President & CEO, serves as a member of the Nexus Advisory Board. Its operating partners include Kaiser-Francis Oil Company and Sam Gary, Jr.
