Sendero Capital Partners, Inc. (SCP) and its affiliate, Sendero Asset Management, LLC (SAM) are privately owned companies that make direct investments in and/or acquire operating companies as well as develop new projects in the energy industry. SAM is a joint venture between SCP and other private equity firms which acts as the managing partner in Sendero’s investments.

Investment Strategy

Our strategy is to find, acquire, restructure and re-energize existing operating companies with strong underlying market fundamentals, competitive advantages and capable management positioned to capture unrealized growth. Sendero will develop, implement and maintain a very disciplined business strategy for each of its portfolio companies. Ultimately, Sendero’s strategy is to aggregate a “system” of cash flow-based assets which can provide attractive annuity-type returns or create an exit opportunity through a private or public offering that will be appealing to larger industry participants and/or the public markets.

Management Philosophy

Sendero management will take active roles in the strategic, financial and operational management in all companies it acquires or invests. Sendero’s extensive experience will be utilized to help guide its companies through successful implementation, execution and realization of its strategic business objectives while leaving day to day operational responsibility with local management who will report directly to Sendero and/or the Sendero Advisory Board. Sendero believes it is very critical that local management’s incentives be properly aligned with those of the investors in order to ensure long-term, sustainable success.

Project Development

Sendero is developing an integrated renewable energy and enhanced oil recovery project which will produce biofuels, renewable power and carbon dioxide for use in depleted oil reservoirs. All the technologies are commercially proven and readily available. Our focus is to incorporate proven technologies in an environmentally friendly process to produce renewable sources of energy while maximizing production of domestic natural resources.
